Another wonderful, refreshing essential oil from the citrus family. Tangerine therapeutic-grade essential oil is such a calming, happy fragrance. Tangerine (Citrus reticulata) is of the Rutaceae (citrus) botanical family and the volatile liquid known as the oil is extracted using the cold pressed method from the rind of the fruit.
It’s key constituents are:
- Limonene (85-93%)
- Beta-Phellandrene+Cis-Beta-Ocimene (2-5%)
- Myrcene (1-4%)
Medical Properties
- Antitumoral – Counteracting or preventing the formation of malignant tumors; anticancer.

Applications
Dilute 1 part essential oil with 1 part V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex or other pure vegetable oil and:
- apply 2-4 drops on location
- apply on Vita Flex points
- inhale directly
- diffuse
- take as a dietary supplement (this is with therapeutic grade essential oil, there is danger in ingesting synthetic, perfume grade essential oil. Make sure your essential oil bottle not only says 100% pure BUT also has a supplement label on it as seen on food items. Not all essential oils are created equal.)
Caution:
Avoid applying to skin that will be exposed to sunlight or UV light for 24 hours. Citrus essential oils are known to be photosensitive.
