For the squash beetle you can make a special blend in a spray bottle of a carrier oil (sesame oil), a little garlic oil, and the following essential oils: cinnamon bark, rosemary, peppermint and thyme. Just a couple drops of each to start with.
You will need to spray plants regularly through the growing season depending on how heavy the infestation is.
