Latin: Eucalyptus Radiata

Plant family: Myrtaceae (myrtle)

Plant Origin: Australia

Extraction Method: Steam distilled from leaves

Properties: Antibacterial, antiviral, expectorant, anti-inflammatory

Aroma: Cooling, refreshing, energizing

Fun fact: It’s composition is closer to that of Melaleuca (tea tree) yet it’s properties are that of eucalyptus.  This variety of eucalyptus is softer yet equally powerful and most preferred by aromatherapists and massage therapists alike.

    • Yes, yes, YES!!! I am planning on implementing lapbooking/notebooking (undecided) with my boys as well. This is such valuable information that I would love to equip them with as I learn and as they continue to see the benefits for themselves. Thank you for your awesome encouragement and I will most certainly keep it coming :D
